Our first event of the 2020-2021 school year was Bleach Party. Bleach Party was an in person limited capacity program taking place at Columbia's Garden. Students had the option to bring their own clothing to bleach tie dye or be provided shirts by SPB.
Dueling DJ's was our first event streamed live through Columbia's brand new Event Lab! Three rounds of genres, two DJ's, one epic night of music. Viewers tuned in and voted for who gave the best performance of the evening.
For the past four years SPB has hosted an annual Drag Show! This was always one of the highlights of the Fall semester and this year was no different. Instead of an in person performance we had the Queens and Kings on a virtual stage streamed to the entire campus via our schools Event Lab.
This year we had the special privilege to host Antoni Porowski star of the hit Netflix series Queer Eye. Antoni joined us over Zoom for a live Q&A and cooking presentation where he prepared crispy brussel sprouts and prosciutto chips. It was certainly a delicious experience and one we won't soon forget.
Our last event of the Fall 2020 semester was our Pride Trivia Game Night. For this event we took LGBTQ+ topics and presented them with a Jeopardy style for our competitors. Teams formed groups of three and went head to head to see who knew the most Pride Trivia.
