As Columbia's TEDx event quickly approaches, there are a few items that student and speakers planning to attend the event should be aware of when it comes to the day of the event.
Once entering 1104 S. Wabash, there will be volunteers along with security at the front desk checking people in to the event. If your name is not on the list, you will not be allowed inside.
After checking in, you will follow a path to the left of the entrance which will lead you to a hallway and a second set of elevators. These are the elevators that will be used to reach the 8th floor, which is where the event will be held. Once exiting the elevator, there will be one final round of "Check-ins" made before reaching the auditorium which will be to the right and up ahead from the elevators.
During intermissions between different sections of the show or when waiting for the next speaker, you will be allowed to leave your seat and there will be a designated area for hanging out and getting refreshments. To exit the building, there are a second set of elevators located behind the stage. These are the elevators that will be used for leaving the building.
