This semester, the IAM Teams and Studio Collaboration class collaborated with Stumble & Relish, an Evanston boutique. The design challenge was to create new developments and designs for the boutique's online presence, to better meet their target audience's needs but also to diversify their user base, while maintaining - but polishing - the brand. Our project took place over the 15-week Spring 2023 semester and involved modernizing the store's social media and website, as well as designing interactive advertisement strategies. By applying user and industry research, as well as the unique creative design talents of students in the class, we established a well-researched case study on internal and external branding and design. Our final deliverable includes the case study, social media guidelines and templates to increase customer engagement and standardize the brand presentation of Stumble & Relish across social media platforms, a revamped Shopify website to improve its user presence and strengthen the Stumble & Relish brand, and an AR interactive advertising experience to provide a new engagement platform to help with diversification of the users. During Manifest, we hope to display artifacts that demonstrate our ideation processes as well as the final deliverables themselves.

Body Breeze Earth presents the graduate thesis exhibitions of Jessica Hays and Erica McKeehen in Columbia College Chicago's Photography Department. Jessica Hays presents pieces from two bodies of work, The Sun Sets Midafternoon, which combines image, text, and video to explore climate grief and solastalgia through the lens of wildfire, and Horizon Line, a monumentally scaled handmade artist book rooted in experiences of reverence and appreciation for the land while recognizing it as both open and divided concurrently.
Erica McKeehen (who performs as Greta-X) combines imagery from her long-term portraiture projects Secret Mermaid and REVEAL, which profile McKeehen's close friends and fellow burlesque performers and sex workers, Secret Mermaid and Kitty Tornado (respectively), alongside her own self-portraits in Days of Rust, to present nuanced views of femme sexuality, autonomy, and experience. During the Showcase on May 11, there will be a poetry reading by Jessica Hays at 7:00 pm.
