Journalism/Photojournalism Program Showcase

Come celebrate the work created by our senior journalism students. The walls in 33 E. Ida B. Wells will feature articles published in the Columbia Chronicle and Echo magazine, along with stories by seniors in Solutions Journalism that were published in local publications, including the Reader and Streetwise. Student radio hosts at WCRX will also be interviewing Echo students about some of their work.

Tour Columbia's very own newsroom with student staff members of The Columbia Chronicle from 9:30am to 12pm in room 224!

Join the audience of Columbia's only live TV news show and watch the final production of TV Newsbeat, the senior capstone course for Photojournalism and Broadcast Journalism students. The show will be filmed in 210 at 33 E. Ida B. Wells. Audience members must be in place by the start of the show and will need to remained seated in the studio during the live taping. Taping starts at 11:00am and is done by 11:30am.
