Please join the School of Visual Arts and the MoCP for a Lecture in Photography with esteemed artist Bridget Smith at Ferguson Hall from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m., followed by a light reception and exhibition viewing at MoCP.

Bridget Smith is a multidisciplinary artist who works with photography, video, and site-specific installations to explore the relationship between the real and the imagined within social and architectural spaces.

Smith’s works are held in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London; Fundacion Jumex, Mexico City; the Contemporary Art Society, London; and the Denver Art Museum, Denver, among many others.

Smith’s work, We Must Live, (2012), is on view at MoCP in the exhibition Channeling: body ←Image→ viewer.
