Working as VI+V Studios, students collaborated to enhance the online presence of Stumble & Relish, a mother-daughter owned jewelry and gift shop located in Evanston, IL.

    Identifying the Problem(s)

    Create new developments and designs that

    a) addressed current social media shortcomings, and

    b) polished the brand image while ensuring alignment with brand identity

    Main Demographic: women, 35-50 years old

    Majority Shoppers: online customers due to COVID19 pandemic

    Competitors: digital presence high in competing stores

    Utilize interactive advertising to engage customers directly, fostering a more immersive online experience and diversifying audience reached via social media platforms

    Establishing Solutions

    1) Use branding to create advertising that can be marketed toward teens

    2) Create immersive experience with tangible object

    Implementing Solutions

    1) Face Filter: Created a face filter using image tracking that was deployed as a marketing strategy targeting a teenage demographic that frequently engaged with similar tech on Instagram

    2) Business Card: Designed a virtual business card using image tracking that allowed social followers to hold a physical card up to their phone camera and generate an animation effect through the screen
