ASL Department at Columbia offers immersive sign language learning and opportunities to explore diverse Deaf communities in the United States and around the globe. Our department is a community within a community with members of different backgrounds and expertise - scholars, poets, interpreters, native signers, linguists, researchers, performers, artists, and so on.
