Call for Proposals: Manifest 2026 Showcase at ShopColumbia

ShopColumbia announces a CALL FOR PROPOSALS for artist showcases by Columbia College Chicago graduating seniors and graduate students.     

Details: 

• Space is extremely limited and we will be looking for the most thorough proposals! Less than 9 artist showcases will be selected to exhibit their work in ShopColumbia at 619 S Wabash. Each artist will have 3-4' linear feet or approximately 10 square feet of floor space for a display of works for sale. 
• Artists must be graduating May 2026 or walking at the May 2026 graduation ceremony.
• Work should be an exemplary representation of your creative body of work.  Ideally work should be a cohesive collection.
• All mediums and majors welcome. 
• The majority of work must be available for purchase. Students earn 75% of every sale. 
• Artists are required to upload an exhibition proposal including: artist statement, list of potential works/products, how the exhibition supports their major and professional goals, a mock-up of display, and supporting images that are indicative of the work that will be displayed.

Submission deadline: March 29, 2026, 10pm

Artist notification: April 3, 2026

Inventory deadline: April 23, 2026

Artist installation: April 28, April 29, April 30, May 4, May 5, and May 6

Exhibition: May 7 - July 10, 2026

Artist reception: Manifest 2026 (TBD)
