Ready to explore one of Chicago’s most colorful neighborhoods? Come along for a walking and food tour of Pilsen with Dr. Jimmy Noriega, Director of the School of Theatre and Dance, on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 10 a.m.–1 p.m.

We’ll hop on the CTA and head to Pilsen for a visit to the National Museum of Mexican Art, stroll past stunning murals, and soak up the neighborhood’s creative energy. Plus, no trip to Pilsen is complete without some sweet treats—think paletas and conchas (or pan dulce or galletas) to fuel your adventure.

Bring your curiosity (and your appetite and your U-Pass)—we can’t wait to explore with you!

Students will meet at the lobby of the theatre building, 72 E. 11th Street, 1st floor.
