Colors of Home
September 23- November 13, 2026
Opening reception: Thursday, September 24, 4-6pm
Home is often a place: a house, a town, or a neighborhood. It can also be a person, an object, a memory, or even a feeling. Within the transitory environment of college life, home is a word that often evokes comfort, belonging, and familiarity. As students grow, form new identities, and interact with new communities, definitions of belonging begin to shift.
Colors of Home aims to explore how the meaning of home varies from person to person and what comforts students as they navigate new beginnings. From family to culture to hometowns, the exhibition invites viewers to experience and question what home means from many perspectives across artistic practices.
