Join us for our inaugural Día de Los Muertos Celebración, a night dedicated to celebrating the vibrant and beautiful Mexican tradition of honoring and remembering our departed loved ones. The celebración will kick off with the unveiling of our stunning window ofrenda displays, running from November 1st to November 21st.

As you admire the ofrendas crafted by the talented members of both the Latinx and Columbia College community, immerse yourself in the spirit of Día de Los Muertos with delicious tacos courtesy of La Calaca. And for dessert? Mexican Hot Chocolate (chocolate caliente) and Pan de Muertos, a traditional sweet bread that holds symbolic meaning during this holiday.

A celebración, would not be complete without music! We are delighted to present a special performance by Liliana y Los Caballeros, showcasing the remarkable talents of our Columbia students and the Latinx community.

In the true spirit of Día de Los Muertos, we encourage all attendees to dress up for the occasion! And for those looking to fully embrace Day of the Dead, we will offer free face painting to help you get into the spirit. Join us as we come together to pay tribute to our past and celebrate the gift of life.
