Every year, Columbia's illustration program hosts the ILLO Awards show to celebrate everyone's accomplishments during the 2023-24 academic year. ILLO Award winners are chosen by a combination of quality work, portfolio depth, command of tools & materials, personal process, illustration marketplace interaction, how they make an impact with the illustration program, how they participate with classes and the campus at large, etc. Students had the option to self-nominate, and faculty and staff chose the top 5 nominees for each category. Categories include Illustration Future Star, Best Website, Most Improved, Most Contributed, Best Overall Illustration, Illustrator of the Year, and more.
*Guests and alumni will need to check in at the Student Center (754 S. Wabash Ave.) to attend all Manifest activities, including The ILLOs.
