Intro to Sewing Workshop - Kickstart Your Skills (Tuesday September 1st)

If you are new to sewing, or need a refresh to gain confidence in your skills, and are enrolled in the fashion design or product development program, this workshop will benefit you to keep up and get ahead with your sewing skills.

You will learn the basics for using industrial sewing machines, practice stitching fabric together using multiple seam styles and skills, and install zippers.

Many students come to school with limited or no sewing experience, this workshop is designed for you! It's also a great refresher for those who may have some sewing experience. Students who have taken this "boot camp workshop" have gained confidence in their abilities, and are more successful in their courses - especially Pattern and Construction I and II.

This is an all-day workshop, from 9:30am - 4pm, and includes all necessary supplies. Lunch is provided.
Fashion Lab orientation will take place at the beginning of the workshop, please show up on time.

If you have your own tools that you would like to bring, you are welcome to do so.

Requirements:
- Please bring your Student ID - you will obtain a Fashion Lab sticker showing you have completed the Orientation.
