R.I.A. x DJ Club will be hosting an event all about creativity and entrepreneurship. Everybody’s an Entrepreneur is about harnessing that creative energy and transforming it into real opportunities. This event is designed to connect artists, musicians, and creatives to collaborate and gain valuable insight into building a sustainable career doing what they love.
We’ll kick things off with a live jam session, setting the stage for an evening of collaboration, inspiration, and open conversation. Our special guests—DJ Trevor James, co-founder of Blue Door Studio, producer, and engineer, along with CbroBeatz, musician, drummer, producer, and engineer—will give us an inside look at their electronic live drum duo, TRT (The Royal Takeover), showing us how they bring their performances to life.
Following the demo, we’ll dive into an engaging panel discussion with DJ Ca$h Era (entrepreneur, DJ, and Columbia College alum), KSounds (Major Recording Studio owner), and Jeremiah Paprocki (the voice of the Chicago Cubs). They’ll share their personal journeys—how they turned their skills and passions into thriving careers—offering insight and their knowledge in their industries.
Whether you’re a musician, DJ, producer, voice actor, artist, or just someone eager to make an impact in the creative industry, this event is an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, connect with like-minded individuals, and take meaningful steps toward turning your passion into a profession.

Trevor James
Blue Door Studios
Sir Trevor James, a Chicago native, began his musical journey DJing at small house parties, eventually gracing the stages of iconic venues like Virgin Hotel, Bourbon on Division, Medusa Elgin, Epiphany Center of the Arts and more.
Takinga hiatus during COVID, he honed his craft, establishing Blue Door Studios and becoming a prominent producer in Chicago's underground scene. By day, he collaborates with local talents in rap, R&B, and pop, while his nights are dedicated to EDM and house music. Known for remixing and all around production, Sir Trevor James is set to redefine his sound, venturing further into the realm of EDM with a promise of genre-defying innovation.

“Hey hey, I’m Cbro, aka Caleb Brookman (I go by either or lol). Whether or not I say it, everything about me radiates music. I’m a professional drummer, producer, ghost writer, music director, and mix/master engineer.
I have performed at various venues in Chicago including Schubas, Credit Union 1 Arena, and SoFar Sounds.
I’m also the Co-Founder of “Late nights in Chicago with Jeremiah Paprocki”, where we turn late-night laughs into unforgettable tunes as I’m the house drummer for the band as well as music director.
Jerimiah Paprocki
Jeremiah Paprocki is the Chicago Cubs Public Address Announcer, better known as "The Voice of Wrigley Field." He earned the job during a series of auditions in 2021. Once hired, he was the first African-American to hold the position in team history but also the youngest announcer in pro-sports at the age of 21. These milestones led to Paprocki's microphone being entered into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The Chicago native is now entering his 5th season with the Cubs and works for several local college and high school teams.

A lover of community, connection, and all things Chicago, CaSera Heining, best known as DJ Ca$h Era, continues to shake the room as a multifaceted, internationally recognized, performer. With over 10 years of professional experience, DJ Ca$h Era’s open-format and masterful mixing style has captivated crowds at a large variety of spaces such as nightclubs, bars, music festivals, private events, corporate galas, weddings, and much more.
Winning the title of Chicago’s Best Hip-Hop DJ since 2021 by the Chicago Reader; DJ Ca$h Era is also one of the Official Atrium and Concourse DJs for the Chicago Bulls, member of the Jordan Brand's Global Women's Collective, and current preferred and resident DJ for Chicago’s hottest venues like Broken Shaker, Scarlet Bar, The Promontory, Soho House, and more. DJ Ca$h Era has worked with notable brands including Jordan, Nike, Akira, BET, Redbull, Beats by Dre, AT&T, Jugrnaut, and more.

Ksenia “KSounds” Plastinina.
Was born and raised in Siberia, Russia. Moved to US at the age of 20, started her engineering career at 24 when she became an intern at one of popular recording studios in Chicago. 4 years later she opened her own studio. Been travelling recording artists all over the US, in 2024 became a voting member of the Grammy committee. She has made an impact in the Chicago Hip Hop scene with her collaborations. She has recently won the 312msuicaward.
