CALL FOR AUDITIONS: BSU’s Paint It Black
Details
Zamira Esperanza, a Dominican American woman, returns home for her mother’s funeral and is pulled into a spiritual awakening. Guided by the spirit of her mother, Soñadora, and the voices of her foremothers, she faces the ghosts of assimilation, shame, and survival to reclaim her name— and the roots that made her. Sol y Tierra is a rebirth where healing becomes resistance and remembrance becomes power.
