Love is in the Air
We hope everyone has been liking their spring semester so far. Thank you to everyone who came to our meeting this past Sunday; we hope you achieve what you've set out to accomplish! For those who couldn't attend, we'll be making the following adjustments to our meetings:
- Effective immediately, Varying Visions will be meeting every other Tuesday rather than alternating Sundays and Tuesdays. Besides lessening confusion and freeing up everyone's schedules, it will give the officers enough time to order supplies and book space with less of a time crunch.
- We will be adapting a hybrid method at these biweekly meetings. If you cannot make it in person, you can use our Zoom link to join virtually. However, some activities we have planned may be challenging to do virtually. If you wish to participate in the activity portion but will be attending virtually, please let an officer know and we can accomodate you.
Our next meeting will be Tuesday, February 7th at 4pm in Room 329 at the Student Center. Our theme is: Valentine's Day! Come make some Valentines with us; sometimes a few words of kindness is enough to tell someone you appreciate them. Feel free to bring your own materials as well (glue, glitter, stickers, etc.) or some Valentines you have yet to finish! An RSVP is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome, of course.
Finally, we'll be tabling at the Student Organization Council's (SOC) Involvement Fair, or as we call it, Block Party! Happening February 8th from 4pm-7pm at the Student Center. Get to know us a little more, learn how to get involved (as a member or an officer), and check out Columbia's other student organizations. Bring your friends and encourage them to get involved on campus!
