New Student Connections for School of Audio and Music

We’re looking forward to meeting all of you at the Music Connections event on Friday, September 4, in the Conaway Center, 1104 S. Wabash. This will be your opportunity to meet the Audio and Music Faculty, other students, and ask any questions.

From 11:00 am to noon, we will break into several jam sessions, studio demo sessions, and focus group discussions going on simultaneously in the Music Center (1014 S. Michigan) and Audio Studios (33 E. Ida B. Wells). Instrumentalists are encouraged to bring their instruments. We will cover several genres including blues, rock, jazz, and R&B for both vocalists and instrumentalists. We will provide pianos/keyboards, guitar and bass amps and drum sets. Anything else – guitars, horns, etc. – you will need to bring. If you play electric guitar or bass, please also bring an instrument cable. Drummers, please bring your stick bag or at least one set of drumsticks.
