Mission: RISE! is a student-run organization whose goal is to provide a space of support and empowerment for underrepresented gender identities in the animation, gaming, and VFX industries. We aim to provide resources and host events that will advance marginalized students' careers and grow their connection circle.
Members of RISE! will be able to grow their connection circle, strengthen their professional skills, and learn how to excel in their respective industries. RISE! Seeks to provide students of Columbia College Chicago’s IAM department with the opportunity to learn and polish skills needed to thrive in the professional world while also creating a safe and positive community. Anyone who feels underrepresented in media/entertainment or supports our mission are welcome to attend our events! We aim to foster a community where all voices are heard and respected.
