Three Things that COVID-19 Changed for the Field of Science

The COVID-19 pandemic jolted the world, and the field of science, in lasting ways. We improved our understanding of respiratory virus transmission, ushered in a genomic age for vaccines, and are seeing some potential cures for the common cold. Did science also take a hit from a credibility standpoint? Dr. Michael Lin, Infectious Diseases specialist and epidemiologist from Rush University Medical Center, will discuss three ways in COVID-19 has changed the field of science, for better or worse.
