Students for Justice in Palestine

Students for Justice in Palestine at Columbia College Chicago is committed to Palestinian justice, liberation, and self-determination. We recognize Palestine's struggle as part of broader resistance against imperial oppression and systems like capitalism, white supremacy, and apartheid.

SJP embodies the BDS movement's vision through boycott, divestment, and sanctions tactics. We call for complete decolonization of Palestinian lands seized since 1948, an end to occupation, the right of return for all refugees, and dismantling of Israel's apartheid system.

Members Benefits

SJP's activities will include cultural events, film screenings and documentaries, teach-ins, and discussions to promote awareness and action towards justice. We are dedicated to educating the campus and will also initiate and participate in campaigns that challenge Israeli apartheid both on campus and off campus. Any currently enrolled student can become a member, and any member of our organization can, at any time, voluntarily withdraw their membership.
