Our e-board applications are now open, and we know you would be the perfect fit! The application is straightforward and can be accessed at this Link! Please take some time to look at each role directly and choose what would be the best fit for you. Also, take note of the requirements to fill the role, as to be accepted for a position, you must fit the following criteria listed in the doc as well.

Scholarship Opportunities for Dues-Paying Members!

Foster the Future Fellowships:

• AGEAN Public Relations Fellowship – $2,500 scholarship and a 5-week paid remote internship with AGEAN Public Relations – This fellowship awards one BIPOC-identified rising junior or senior annually who is pursuing a career in public relations
• LaunchSquad Fellowship - $15,000 scholarship, $4,000 stipend and 8-week paid remote internship with LaunchSquad – This fellowship awards one BIPOC-identified student (rising junior, senior, or graduate student) annually who is pursuing a career in journalism, public relations, marketing & communications.
• Method Communications Fellowship - $15,000 scholarship, $3,000 stipend and 6-week paid remote internship with Method Communications – This fellowship awards one BIPOC-identified rising junior or senior annually who is pursuing a career in public relations or communications.
• Mission North The Future Is…Fellowship – $16,000 scholarship, $6,000 stipend and a 6-week paid remote internship with Mission North – This fellowship awards one BIPOC female-identified student annually who is pursuing a career in PR focusing on tech communications, science communications, or digital marketing & design.
• Application Deadline: March 17, 2023

Scholarships:

• Altschul Champions for PRSSA Outstanding Internship Award – $300 – This scholarship awards undergraduate PRSSA members for outstanding academic achievement and success in a public relations internship.
• Axia Public Relations Scholarship - $2,000 – This scholarship awards juniors who demonstrate financial need, experience and passion for public relations, and dedication to professional ethics and excellence.
• Betsy Plank/PRSSA Scholarships – First place $5,000, Second place $1,500, Third place $1,000 – This scholarship awards PRSSA members in their junior or senior years who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to public relations.
• Chester Burger Scholarship for Excellence in Public Relations - $1,000 – This scholarship awards graduate students in public relations or journalism interested in careers in corporate public relations.
• Gary Yoshimura Scholarship –  $2,400 – This scholarship is awarded based on financial need and an essay competition open to all members of PRSSA.
• Geoffrey M. Curtis Scholarship - $10,000 - This scholarship awards one rising junior or senior undergraduate student who is pursuing a career in public relations, journalism, or communications and is BIPOC identified.
• John. D. Graham Scholarship – First place $3,000, Two runners-up $1,000 each – This scholarship awards rising seniors who demonstrate leadership, academic achievement, practice experience in internships or work/service, commitment to public relations, and writing skills. 
• Ofield Dukes Multicultural Student Award - $1,000 – This scholarship awards minority students entering their junior year who are preparing for a career in public relations and demonstrate a commitment to service and social responsibility.
• PRSA Diversity Multicultural Scholarship – Two $1,500 awards – This scholarship awards minority students entering their junior or senior years who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and commitment to the practice of public relations.
• Robin M. Urbanski Memorial Scholarship – $1,000 – This scholarship awards PRSSA members entering their junior or senior years for their mentoring of others and their commitment to public relations.
• Ron Culp Scholarship for Mentorship – $1,000 – This scholarship awards PRSSA members entering their senior year for their mentoring of others and their promotion of public relations as a career choice.
• Stephen D. Pisinski Memorial Scholarship –  $2,000 – This scholarship awards PRSSA members in their junior or senior year in recognition of outstanding academic achievement.
• Application Deadline: April 30, 2023

We ask that you share information about these scholarships with all eligible students. Information about all scholarships is available on our website. The deadline for the Foster the Future Fellowships is March 17, 2023. The deadline for most other scholarships is April 30, 2023.
