These last 3 weeks of the semester go quickly! And there’s so much to do. As a senior, I know how overwhelming the end of the semester is and I’ve finally got the hang of it. Here are some tips to help you finish strong:ÔÇ»
-
Write out a color-coded list of everything that is due. Pick out a color for each class and chronologically list your assignments so that you don’t miss anything.ÔÇ»
-
With writing your final papers, waiting until the night before is always the worst idea. Do a little each day and make sure your thesis is clear. If you know what you want to write about and your sources are gathered, writing your papers become much more efficient.ÔÇ»
-
If you’re ever confused about anything in the class (assignment or otherwise), don’t be shy to reach out to your professor or a fellow classmate.ÔÇ»
-
Find a study buddy! This may or may not work for you, but for many it helps to keep you accountable.ÔÇ»
-
Put your phone in another room. If you have to get up to check your phone, you likely won’t and it won’t distract you.
-
Take breaks. Seriously. I’m the type of person that wants to get through my work as quickly as possible, but taking a break helps your brain so that you can think more quickly and clearly.ÔÇ»
-
And of course, remind yourself that each assignment done gets you one step closer to Winter Break.ÔÇ»
Happy finals!ÔÇ»
