A new collaborative student space is opening at 618 S. Michigan building! The Hive, located on the 3rd floor, will have its unveiling for students next Monday, April 8th. The Hive is a meeting and performance space used primarily by student organizations, but can also be reserved on EMS by other students based on availability. The space features a stage, monitors, DJ equipment, kitchenette, formal meeting room, a work room and lots of space for students to meet and engage!
The week of its opening is packed with introductory events and tours so you can get to know your new student space/resource! Kicking off on Monday (4/8) at 5pm with tours and giveaways, and finishing the week with study sessions and an open mic & wellness event. The Hive’s hours of operation will be Monday through Thursday from 9AM to 10PM and 9AM to 5PM on Fridays.
