We are pleased to announce Client Services of the Information Technology department will be changing their name to Technology Support as of May 1, 2023. Like Columbia College Chicago, the landscape of Information Technology is diverse and rapidly changing. We believe our new name will more accurately reflect and differentiate varying support levels within IT. In addition, with encompassing and challenging the focus of our identity and mission. Our vision is to explore new ways to better serve our students, faculty, and staff. Although the name of this area has changed, our goal of producing committed service, support, and products for our end-users will remain and continues to be our top priority.
Some of those services include supporting:
1. Mac & PC: Provide support and configuration for multiple device platforms.
2. Account Access: Setting up Office 365 (email) accounts, Adobe, and password management.
3. VPN & VDI Access/Issues: Setup, install, and troubleshoot various issues with VDI & VPN access.
4. DUO licensing/Activations: Provide installation and activation assistance.
5. Mobile Devices: Adding Accounts onto mobile devices such as iOS, Android, tablets, etc.
6. MyColumbia: Assist faculty with final grading and access.
7. Prisma Direct & Print Direct: Support various issues with printing, printer connection to devices, and more.
8. And provide various other software and hardware technological support with network issues, teams, etc.
