Columbia offers many resources for students and some of the best revolve around student health. Unfortunately illness happens and we need more treatment than we can provide ourselves. Located at 916 S Wabash, the Student Health Center offers a variety of services and care provided by medical professionals. This is the best way to access medical care for students at Columbia. To make an appointment or find the whole list of treatment options, go to the health center's webpage.
Another great service that is offered for students is free counseling. The Counseling Center also located in the 916 building is a great way to get one on one care and counseling. To find out more about the counseling Center and to request assistance go here.
Your health and wellbeing is top priority and it is important to utilize the resources that are provided if needed. Self care is another great way to mentally and physically find balance that is fitted for your needs. Columbia Cares is another resource that has a variety of services to help students who are facing challenges such as food insecurity or financial assistance. Some of the resources that are offered at Columbia Cares do require an application that can be found on the Columbia Cares tab at colum.edu.
We hope you stay healthy as the seasons begin to change but if anything changes you have support and access to these resources this school year!
