Stay Safe with SafeRide

Student Loop - Tuesday, October 18, 2022
 In The Loop
With the seasons starting to change and the sun going down earlier, Columbia students can benefit from the SafeRide program. The SafeRide system operates from 6pm to 1am daily and can give you a ride to any campus building (including residences) and most CTA stations in the campus area. They can also give you a ride to Museum Campus, Union Station, or Ogilvie Transportation Center.

SafeRide is the perfect option for students coming home from night classes or anytime they’re on campus and feel they’re unsafe. To contact SafeRide you can call (312) 369-7233, or use the blue security posts you see around campus to contact security services. The SafeRide program is a great resource to take advantage of and to ensure your safety throughout the school year.

For the complete list of SafeRide pickup and dropoff locations, as well as other guidelines and prohibitions, check out The SafeRide Program.
