Freevee’s new show, Jury Duty, has found its way into the viral social space. Its unique premise has captured audiences' attention, almost being a real life Truman Show experience. Set up as a documentary following the life of a jury, the show is made up of all actors except for one unsuspecting person. It goes through a “trial” start to finish with ups, downs, twists and turns while the actors create mild chaos in the courtroom. The non actor Ronald, is thrust into this weird world as he is tasked to lead the jury to a verdict.
This show is absolutely nuts and will make you laugh out loud. The scenarios may seem outlandish and cause you to ask how Ronald hasn't figured it out until you think about the wild world we live in. Over the span of three weeks the jury is sequestered, unable to use technology other than the payphone on the wall, and are absolutely unhinged as personal lives come crashing down. Jury Duty checks off all of the boxes for a good show and is entertaining every episode. There are many break out characters but our real life person Ronald will leave you in stitches as well as show you that kindness goes a long way. You can watch Jury Duty on Amazon Prime Video with a subscription and warning, once you turn it on you won’t be able to turn it off.
