We're already a couple weeks into 2024, how are your resolutions going? It's okay if you've totally forgotten about your new gym membership or those old habits you meant to break but it's time to get back on the horse! School's starting so why not brush off you resolutions and keep them this year! Here are some tips to making your resolution seem just in reach:
1. Start small!
It's good to push yourself but, remember, Rome wasn't built in a day. If your goal is to work out more, start with thirty minutes a couple times a week and build yourself where you need to be. Missing one day doesn't mean you missed the resolution!
2. Remind yourself!
We all have so much going on as students, it's easy to put school first and yourself last but it doesn't have to be that way. Set an alarm in your phone at night or in the morning (before or after your responsibilities) and practice your resolution.
3. Hold yourself accountable!
While it's play to slip up and miss a few days, be able to discpline yourself. Even if you're feeling so lazy and tired, give yourself at least five minutes of discpline within your resolution. You can do it!
