The Hokin Gallery opened with a new student showcase last Thursday, February 8th. After Everything asks Columbia artists what comes after a loss, a systemic failure, or a jarring change? What is changed, what stays the same, and what remains?
The gallery, curated by 2023 illustration graduate Adele Hink, will be on display until April 16th of 2024 and features over a dozen Columbia artists visual works of art, taking on all kinds of mediums, from painting to photo print to collage to sculpture. Each of the artworks addresses the thematic question of the showcase of what will remain, after everything?
The Hokin gallery is located in the 623 S. Wabash building and is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 10pm and Saturday from 8am to 6pm.
