Community. It is not just a thing that happens. Community is something we either join or create. With intent. And, community can sustain us, it can bring us joy, it can bring us new knowledge, innovative ideas, new ways of being.
It can be ridiculously small, like a few friends who get together and stay together or it can be a group of people that share a common interest (see student orgs).
It can be a street, a neighborhood, or a city. Obviously, Columbia is a community. And we are all a part of it. Let's make sure we look for and find community and help our fellow students find the same! Have a wonderful week! The StuCom team
