About Us
The Columbia Renegades Dance Team has been one of the longest-running SOC groups here on campus for over 10 years, with 80+ student alumni. With students flowing in and out of CRDT each semester, there is a fresh new set of skills & talent that make every semester's team unique! We feature many styles of dance such as jazz, contemporary, poms, or musical theatre. The team is composed of performers all with different majors and skill levels from Columbia. They perform at many on-campus and local Chicago events, and they host biannual dance showcases. Some of their iconic past performances include the Arts in the Dark parade down State Street that they have performed at since it began in 2015, and their crowd-hyping Manifest performance every year!
