PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE EMAIL!
Welcome to Week 5! We are almost 1/3 of the way through the semester, and we have a lot of information to share with you this week.
Firstly, Ben and I have been working nonstop to try to find a space for the showcase, and after many places being reserved and booked, we have settled on doing it at the HIVE. It will take place on December 5th, with the show starting at 7 PM, and the call time will be 6 PM. Please put this on your calendar and if you have any conflicts, please let me know ASAP so we can figure out what dances will be in the show.
Secondly, we just wanted to check in and see how everyone's doing with rehearsals. We haven't seen some of you guys since auditions, and we want to make sure you all are still committed to the show. Please send me an email just checking in. It could be as simple as "I'm doing well and rehearsals are going fine," or if you'd like to share more about anything happening in your life, please feel free. I'd love to hear what's going on in your lives.
Lastly, this week's open class will be different from our previous classes. I will be teaching a contemporary dance choreography to a popular song. I'm super excited, and I hope you guys will enjoy it. This is our first time doing something like this. See you all there!
