Mission
BAF2021 seeks inspiration from both past and present to inform visions of a tolerant, inclusive, and progressive future. This year's festival continues to affirm community space for Columbia College Chicago artists who identify with the African diaspora to share work (theatre, performances, film, visual art, scholarly panels and discussion) while critically engaging each other through roundtable discussions, audience interaction and collaboration. We imagine the future of Black Liberation through an artistic approach.
