The Sampson Brothers (Samsoche and Lumhe Micco) perform with a distinctive combination of the dance styles practiced in pow wow, with contemporary influences to create a unique fusion of tradition and new elements learned throughout their travels. Together The Sampson Bros. have taken their performance all throughout North America and Europe. As collaborators, over the course of their career they have shared the stage with Keith Secola, Frank Waln, Jana Mashonee, Brule, Redbone, and many others.

Growing up in Southern California their mother, Darice, kept them involved culturally through pow wow, which is a gathering of many tribes throughout North America. Pow wow was a way many indigenous people maintained cultural connection and ceremony. The Sampson Bros. were highlighted by PBS’s award-winning web series “If Cities Could Dance: Minneapolis.” Samsoche and Lumhe were also invited to do a presentation of their fusion at TEDx Minneapolis as featured speakers. The Sampson Bros. have been performing artists for most of their lives which spans over at least 30 years
