Counseling Services’ mission is to provide high quality, holistic mental health services to the Columbia College Chicago student body. Through collaborative and confidential relationships, trained staff work with students to develop the coping strategies necessary for success in their academic, professional, and personal lives.
A physician or nurse practitioner is available to provide outpatient clinical evaluation, treatment of minor illnesses, injuries, and also evaluation and triage/referral for more serious illnesses or injuries. Should you require a higher level of service due to an urgent or chronic condition, the SHC staff will advise you verbally or in writing of the possible diagnosis, testing, and treatment recommended.
SSD is dedicated to providing students with documented disabilities full access to the College’s educational programs, activities, and facilities.
